Position Overview

The Kitchen Cabinet Designer / Sales Consultant is responsible for guiding customers through the kitchen design and purchasing process—from initial consultation to final sale. This role combines creative design, product knowledge, and sales expertise to deliver outstanding results for both clients and the business.

Key Responsibilities

Meet with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and budget
Create kitchen designs using cabinet design software
Recommend cabinetry styles, materials, finishes, and hardware
Prepare accurate quotes, drawings, and specifications
Close sales and manage projects through ordering and installation
Coordinate with installers, and internal team members
Maintain showroom displays and product knowledge
Provide exceptional customer service before, during, and after the sale
Qualifications & Skills

Experience in kitchen cabinet design and/or retail sales preferred
Strong sales and customer service skills
Proficiency with design software (or willingness to learn)
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Knowledge of cabinetry, construction, or interior design is an asset
