We currently have 14 full-time positions for Automotive Mechanics/Technicians to upskill with Blue Tongue and become Heavy Duty Equipment Mechanics/Technicians.

About the role:

Successful applicants will be paid a wage while they complete six (6) weeks of practical training in heavy equipment repair and hydraulics at a training institute in Ontario. They will then go and work in the workshop our client who has workshops in various locations across Canada with the possibility of onsite to work once you get some experience, with one of our Tier-1 partner Clients in the mining and/or oil & gas sectors in Various provinces throughout Canada.

Depending on the location, key duties can include:

Preventative maintenance and servicing.
Breakdown and repairs.
Diagnostics and analytics.
Component fitting.
To be successful in this role, you will have:

Canadian Automotive Mechanic/Technician Qualification + Red Seal.
Minimum of 3 years' experience in a dealership or independent workshop.
Demonstrated employment stability.
Electrical and hydraulic knowledge is advantageous.
