We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Junior Deskside Support Technician in our team. This is a full-time permanent position with a minimum of 35 hrs/week.
As a Junior Deskside Support Technician, you will be responsible for providing first-line technical support to end-users. This role involves troubleshooting hardware and software issues, setting up and configuring new hardware, and ensuring the smooth operation of the organisation's IT infrastructure. You will work closely with other IT team members to resolve technical problems and provide exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities
Provide on-site and remote technical support to end-users.
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network-related issues.
Install, configure, and maintain desktop and laptop computers, peripherals, and software.
Assist with the setup and deployment of new hardware and software.
Perform routine maintenance and updates on IT equipment.
Document and track issues using the organization's ticketing system.
Collaborate with other IT team members to identify and resolve recurring problems.
Maintain an inventory of IT equipment and supplies.
What we are looking for
Relevant Diploma or higher qualification OR 3+ years of IT work experience, with at least 2 years of experience working within the ServiceNow ITSM platform.
Good Communication Skills, verbal and written
Strong Microsoft Office skills and adaptable to the evolving nature of projects
Team player who enjoys working in a fast-paced, pressurised, dynamic environment
Analytical person with a keenly developed appreciation of attention to detail
Be capable of working unsupervised whilst understanding the importance & interdependencies of the team.
Service orientated

Communication: Explain technical issues clearly; listen actively.
