Bentley School is a Kindergarten to Grade 12 school located in a supportive rural community. We are looking for an educator who is passionate about student learning, demonstrates strong instructional practices, and is committed to creating a positive and engaging classroom environment.

Assignment:


Full-time 1.0 FTE probationary teaching position
Courseload to include: Grades 7-9 generalist and Physical Education
Duties to commence August 26, 2026 and will continue for the remainder of the 2026/2027 school year.
The final teaching assignment may be adjusted to suite the successful candidates strengths and overall school needs.
Qualifications:

Passion for teaching junior high students
Demonstrated strength in grades 7-9 and Physical Education
Ability to contribute to a collaborative, student-focused middle school team
Strong understanding of curriculum and assessment practices for relevant subjects and levels
Ability to create an engaging, inclusive, and differentiated learning experience
Ability to support diverse learners and adapt instruction to meet a variety of student needs
Commitment to building positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues
Commitment to supporting student growth, both academically and socially
Passion for education and a commitment to student success
Effective classroom management that facilitates safe, caring, and inclusive spaces for all students
Strong planning and organizational skills
Willingness to work in a team-oriented learning environment and be a positive team member
Commitment to ongoing professional growth
