Job Description

Indian Lounge Limited is looking for 2 cooks to join our team in Auckland. You will be reporting to our head chef and under their guidance , provide quality, nutritious dishes and meals to our customers.

The role is full-time and permanent with pay rate of $26-$30 per hour and minimum of 30 hours per week between Monday - Sunday rostered shifts.

Key Responsibilities

* Preparation of North and South Indian dishes

* Special events catering

* Ordering stock and checking goods on arrival

* Keeping the kitchen tidy and clean

* Maintaining Council records

* Ensuring the quality of food before it leaves the kitchen

* Assisting the head chef with menu planning

* Ensuring the kitchen equipment is in proper working condition

* Training other kitchen staff whenever required and performing other duties assigned from time to time.

Key Responsibilities

* Must have at least one year of relevant experience.

*A positive, can-do, committed attitude.

* Ability to work in a busy environment

* Must be willing to work during weekends and public holidays

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $26.00 – $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 per week
