Job Description

We are looking for 2 Full-time Telecommunication Technicians within Auckland. You will be required to work between 30 hours – 40 hours per week. We need someone who is willing to commit to our company and is prepared to take the responsibility and run with it.

Job Duties:

Key Responsibilities

Install, configure, and commission telecommunications equipment including telephones, mobile communication devices, switchboards, and data transmission systems.
Maintain and service telecommunications infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime.
Diagnose faults and carry out repairs on telecommunications equipment and network systems in a timely and efficient manner.
Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance of network systems across homes, businesses, telephone exchanges, and other network sites.
Test and troubleshoot communication lines, signal strength, and data transmission systems to identify and resolve technical issues.
Install and terminate cabling systems (e.g., fibre optic, copper, and structured cabling) in accordance with industry standards.
Ensure all installations and repairs comply with safety regulations and telecommunications standards.
Maintain accurate records of work completed, including service reports and maintenance logs.
Liaise with clients, network engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure effective service delivery.
Provide technical support and guidance to customers regarding the use and maintenance of telecommunications systems.
Core Requirements

The suitable candidate should have certificate / diploma qualification of Level 4 or atleast 1 year of relevant industry work experience.
Good at identifying problems and troubleshooting hardware issues.
Able to work independently and compatibility to work on weekends.
Clean Character background
Zero tolerance of alcohol and drugs in the workplace
