We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Sales Team Manager to guide and support our high-performing sales team as we expand our reach and impact across the IIoT space.

Position Overview:

The Sales Team Manager will play a critical role in ensuring the success of the sales team by providing leadership, motivation, and strategic direction. This person will be responsible for maintaining sales momentum, managing key accounts, and aligning the team with company targets and goals. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading sales teams in a tech-driven environment, ideally within IIoT or related industries.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Team Leadership:

Lead and motivate a team of sales representatives to achieve individual and team sales targets.
Implement and maintain effective sales processes, ensuring the team is aligned with best practices and company goals.
Coach team members on techniques for prospecting, client relationship-building, and closing deals.
Provide ongoing training, development, and feedback to help sales reps grow and succeed in their roles.
Strategic Sales Planning:

Collaborate with Management to develop and implement sales strategies that align with company objectives.
Monitor sales performance, track key metrics, and adjust strategies as necessary to achieve desired outcomes.
Conduct regular sales meetings to review progress, provide updates, and address challenges.
Performance Tracking & Reporting:

Set clear performance expectations and key performance indicators (KPIs) for the sales team.
Prepare detailed sales forecasts, reports, and presentations for senior management.
Analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth or areas requiring improvement.
Client Relationship Management:

Assist the team with cultivating relationships with key clients, acting as a point of escalation for high-priority accounts.
Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing concerns, negotiating deals, and offering tailored solutions.
Develop long-term relationships with new and existing clients to encourage repeat business and referrals.
Collaboration Across Departments:

Work closely with marketing, product, and customer success teams to ensure a seamless experience for clients and prospects.
Provide feedback to the product team regarding customer needs and market trends to help shape product development.
Collaborate with the marketing team on lead generation strategies and ensure alignment on messaging and promotions.
Sales Process Optimization:

Continuously assess and improve sales processes, tools, and CRM systems to streamline workflow and enhance team productivity.
Drive the adoption of sales automation tools and CRM best practices across the team.
Keep up with industry trends and best practices in sales and IIoT technology to drive innovation in the sales approach.
Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in sales, with at least 2 years in a sales leadership or managerial role.
Proven track record of successfully leading and motivating a sales team in a high-growth environment.
Experience in IIoT, technology, or related industries is highly preferred.
Strong understanding of sales metrics, forecasting, and performance management.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to coach and mentor sales representatives to achieve individual and team success.
Familiarity with HubSpot CRM and sales performance tracking tools.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically under pressure.
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in B2B sales, particularly in SaaS or enterprise-level solutions.
Knowledge of IIoT technologies and how they solve business challenges.
MBA or advanced business qualifications.
