Job Overview
Pacesetter Equipment is actively looking to hire an Accountant!
Pacesetter Equipment is a leading heavy equipment supplier in Western Canada. With two offices in Calgary and Edmonton we have the ability to serve our customers’ projects wherever they are.

Responsibilities
This position will report to the Chief Financial Officer and will be responsible for including, but not limited to the following responsibilities.
Maintain general ledgers for the Pacesetter Group of Companies
Revenue accounting, including the revenue reconciliation, completion, and inter-company billing
Asset, Loans and Lease accounting, tracking, and reconciling on monthly basis.
Extend hand-on support to process Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Payroll and actively assist in collections
Assist with regulatory compliance
Assist CFO with quarter/year end work
Work as a mentor, guide and back up for administration team members
Key administrative duties for keeping the accounting systems and software Up To Date
Support operations and sales team with reporting and inquiries of financial nature
Assist in strengthening internal controls and administrative procedures
Assist CFO with financial and cash forecasting
Other duties as required
Required Skills
Ability to solve complex accounting problems.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong systems and software skill include MS Office Suite and SharePoint applications
Critical thinker and team player
Advanced data analysis and interpretation skills
Superior organization skills to consistently meet deadlines
Qualifications and Experience
Designated or actively pursuing Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation
At least 3 years of full cycle accounting experience in a mid to large size business
Compensation
Compensation will be negotiated based on qualifications and experience.
** Pre-employment Background Check is required, and employment is contingent upon successful clearance results. **
