Job Description
About Annex
Annex is a craft brewery making beer, soda and whatever else earns a place in your fridge. We brew for people who care about what they drink - but don't want to overthink it. Technically driven. Constantly evolving. Never precious. Rooted in Calgary's craft community, we respect the process but we're not bound by it. Anything is open to iteration. Everything can be better.
Job Purpose
The Digital Marketing Coordinator supports the execution of Annex’s digital marketing across social media, website, email, and e-commerce channels, with a strong focus on content creation and day-to-day channel management. This role is ideal for a creative, hands-on marketer who enjoys producing content, staying on top of trends, and bringing campaigns to life. Working closely with the Marketing Director, you will help execute marketing initiatives that drive brand awareness, engagement, and sales.
Responsibilities
Capture photo and video content for social media, campaigns, and product launches
Edit and produce content for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and other platforms
Adapt content for platform-specific formats and best practices
Assist with copywriting for captions, posts, and basic marketing materials
Support planning and execution of photoshoots and content days
Schedule and publish content across social platforms
Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and mentions
Maintain an active and consistent brand presence online
Support execution of digital campaigns including product launches, merch drops, and events
Assist in building campaign assets (content, landing pages, basic graphics)
Work with the Digital Media Manager to bring campaigns to life
Update website content including product listings, blog posts, and event pages
Add and maintain products in the online store (descriptions, images, tagging)
Ensure accuracy and consistency across digital touchpoints
Assist with email marketing (content, layout, scheduling)
Support creation of retail and promotional materials (menus, signage, sell sheets)
Maintain organized content and asset libraries
Coordinate tasks and deadlines using project management tools
Assist with e-commerce fulfillment and execution
Requirements
2–3 years experience in digital marketing, social media, or content creation
Strong interest in content creation, social media, and brand storytelling
Experience with photo and video editing tools
Basic understanding of social media platforms and trends
Familiarity with website platforms (Squarespace or similar) is an asset
Strong attention to detail and ability to stay organized
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
Strong written and verbal communication skills
This is a hands-on content creation role and requires access to personal tools such as a laptop and camera equipment. Annex provides a monthly technology allowance to support the use and upkeep of your creative toolkit
Requires a personal vehicle for off-site travel (shoots, events, activations), with mileage reimbursement provided
Pay: $40,543.92-$99,429.33 per year
Benefits:
Casual dress
Discounted or free food
