We are currently in need of Certified Heavy Equipment Mechanic for our Calgary location.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Some of the main duties and responsibilities of mechanic will be:

Inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting, overhaul and repair of various components of a variety of heavy duty trucks equipped with diesel engines and automatic or manual transmissions.
Requisition parts, materials and equipment as needed
Complete detailed, clear and concise work orders
Assist Shop Manager and other technicians in checking and diagnosing mechanical faults of trucks
Maintain order, cleanliness, work output and safe working conditions in own work area

Qualifications

Strong mechanical knowledge and hands-on experience with heavy equipment maintenance and repair
Proficiency in using hand and power tools
Ability to perform heavy lifting and operate various heavy machinery, including excavators and cranes
Experience with electrical systems and automotive repair
Familiarity with schematics and troubleshooting techniques
Customer service skills and experience in a dealership or industrial setting
Welding and assembly skills are a plus

Pay: $64,638.00-$66,395.00 per year
