With multiple sites throughout greater Auckland we offer a full range of services from general X-Ray to the latest in Nuclear Medicine Therapy and we're still growing!
We're looking for a Team Leader to manage, support and develop an already fantastic team of Medical Receptionists as they provide first class customer service and patient care. While experience in a healthcare setting is important, it will be your proven ability to lead, organise and empower your team that will set you up to succeed in this role.
Based at our Northcare site in Rosedale and reporting to the Reception Manager, this highly rewarding role will suit a switched on customer focused professional who has the experience and ability to develop effective working relationships in a busy and high functioning environment. This is a permanent full-time position working Monday to Friday, with hours that may vary slightly from week to week, but working across our North and Western sites there will be heaps of variety, flexibility and opportunity to develop.
Key responsibilities of the role are to:
Lead, support and develop a team of medical receptionists
Be involved in recruitment, selection and training of new reception staff
Motivate & empower the team through performance appraisal & coaching
Manage staff rosters and submit timesheets
Oversee invoicing & processing of payments and other administrative duties
As our successful candidate you will have:
Proven record of effective team leadership
Previous experience in medical administration/reception an advantage
Excellent IT skills & tech savvyness with the ability to pick up new systems with ease
Experience working with COMRAD would be an advantage
Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with and between staff, patients & referrers
High level of professionalism, personal presentation and accountability
Ability to travel between our Northern & Western branches is essential
What we offer:
At Allevia Radiology we highly value our employees and are proud to offer:
Competitive remuneration plus mileage
5 weeks annual leave
Generous health insurance subsidy
Free parking
A supportive & fun working environment where everyone matters.
A robust Employee Assistance Programme,
Staff discounts on services
Discounts on retail, banking, childcare, e-bikes, gym memberships and more
This is an exciting time to join a dynamic and growing private organisation. If this opportunity sparks your interest, please click APPLY now to submit your application online.
Applications close at midday Monday 18 May 2026; however we reserve the right to close the applications earlier as required.
