As an Assistant Manager, you play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional service to our members. In this exciting position, you'll lead by example, providing guidance, coaching, and mentorship to our team to ensure every interaction exceeds expectations. Please note - experience working for a Credit Union or Bank is required for this position.

What you’ll do:

Promote and encourage high employee engagement through leadership and direction.
Deliver results through strong coaching ability, measuring and correcting performance.
Partner with your manager to ensure the operational effectiveness of the branch and maximize the performance of the team.
Inspire superior sales and service excellence by coaching the staff on service delivery as well as resolving complex or escalated member issues.
Seek opportunities to promote the branch and business by identifying and acting on opportunities with existing customers as well as generating new leads and developing new relationships.
Leverage partners to establish both internal and external working relationships to support business objectives.
Participate in and represent the branch at consumer banking leadership meetings and provide input toward budgeting and strategic planning discussions.
What you bring:

2+ years of people leadership experience in a customer-facing expertise within a financial institution
Demonstrated leadership skills including coaching, mentoring, and training.
Superior interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to interact with a diverse and varied audiences.
Proven sales and business development skills
Skilled in knowledge of deposits, personal lending, mortgage, and wealth management products

What We Offer:

Prospera offers a total compensation package of base salary plus incentives that is market competitive and reviewed annually. Our expected starting salary for this role is $76,400 to $95,500 based on the successful candidate’s knowledge, experience and internal equity.
