Customer Service Representative - 12 Month Term

Description of Duties:

The Customer Service Representative will be responsible for:

Provide quality customer service in both inbound and outbound call centre
Actively participating in sales programs to maintain and increase circulation
Continually promote our monthly pre-payment plans
Follow up calls to new starts and restarts to ensure quality service
Contacting existing customer base to renew their subscriptions
In the case of potential cancellations, identifying the customers’ needs to improve service & attempting to retain them as a subscriber
Complete accurate customer account transactions during calls
Clerical support functions or other duties for Circulation Department as assigned
Training will be provided to the successful candidate.
Qualifications:

Ability to provide professional and courteous customers service in a fast-paced environment
A commitment to quality service and follow through
Experience in telephone service or sales
Previous computer and keyboarding experience
Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external customers
Ability to perform required duties with minimum supervision
Ability to perform productively in a team environment
Possess a positive attitude with a willingness to learn
