On Site Aircraft Service Inc. is a growing mobile AOG maintenance provider supporting Part 91 and Part 135 operators across the Midwest and beyond. With a strong presence in St. Louis and expanding operations in Chicago, we specialize in rapid-response Aircraft on Ground (AOG) support, scheduled maintenance, and line support for a wide range of business aviation aircraft.

Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and experienced AOG Aircraft Maintenance Technician to join our Chicago-based team. This role is ideal for a Tech who thrives in a fast-paced, on-the-road environment and takes pride in delivering high-quality maintenance support.

Key Responsibilities
• Provide on-site AOG maintenance support at airports throughout the Chicago region and surrounding Midwest
• Troubleshoot, repair, and service aircraft systems under time-sensitive conditions
• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance in accordance with FAA regulations
• Coordinate directly with Maintenance Control, flight crews, and customers
• Complete accurate and timely maintenance documentation and work orders
• Maintain company vehicle, tooling, and inventory to operational standards
• Represent the company professionally in all customer interactions

Qualifications
• FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License (required)
• 3+ years of aircraft maintenance experience (AOG experience preferred)
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Experience with business jets (Bombardier, Gulfstream, Textron/Citation, Embraer preferred)
• Ability to work independently and make sound maintenance decisions
• Willingness to travel and work flexible/on-call schedules
• Valid driver’s license
• Passport preferred (for potential international travel)
• Proficient computer skills
