Silver Fern Farms is a leading New Zealand meat processing and exporting company that sources, processes, and markets premium beef, lamb, and venison products to customers in more than 60 countries worldwide.
The Silver Fern Farms “Team Members – Meat Processing” role is an entry-level to semi-skilled factory processing job in meat production plants such as Takapau, Te Aroha, Timaru, Balclutha, and Waitotara.
Main Job Description
Typical duties include:
Processing and packing meat products
Trimming and handling meat on production lines
Cleaning and maintaining equipment/work areas
Following food safety and health & safety rules
Working in chilled factory environments
Standing for long hours and lifting moderate weights
Working as part of a fast-paced production team
No previous experience is required for many positions because training is provided. Knife skills, trimming experience, or forklift licences are advantages but not mandatory.

Pay: $4,900.00 – $5,300.00 per month
