Kitchen Helper/Server

Overview
We are seeking a motivated and reliable Kitchen Helper to join our team. This role is essential in supporting our kitchen operations, ensuring smooth meal preparation, food safety, and excellent food service. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food industry and a strong work ethic, with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Previous restaurant or kitchen experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided to the right candidate. This position offers an opportunity to develop skills in food handling, meal preparation, and culinary support.

Availability requirements:

Mornings and Evenings up-to 11 pm for closing.

Duties

Assist with food preparation and meal assembly under the supervision of kitchen staff
Support cooking activities by preparing ingredients and maintaining cleanliness of workstations
Handle food safely and hygienically according to established standards
Serve food to customers or assist in serving areas as needed
Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment, utensils, and dining areas
Ensure proper storage of ingredients and leftovers in accordance with food safety guidelines
Support inventory management by organizing supplies and notifying staff of low stock levels
Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment for all team members
Qualifications

Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments is a plus but not mandatory
Knowledge of food handling, safety procedures, and basic meal preparation techniques
Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment
Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards
Good communication skills and a positive attitude
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting or moving supplies as needed
Willingness to learn new skills related to food preparation and service
