Overview
We are seeking a friendly and attentive Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will excel in providing exceptional guest services, ensuring a memorable dining experience for all patrons. This role requires a strong understanding of food and beverage service, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Previous restaurant experience and familiarity with food safety standards are highly valued. The Server will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, handling payments, and maintaining a clean and welcoming dining area.

Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm
Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Micros POS
Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards
Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales
Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling duties
Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and service stations
Manage multiple tables efficiently through effective time management skills
Provide excellent guest services by addressing questions, special requests, or concerns promptly
Skills

Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments
Familiarity with POS systems
Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling techniques
Ability to multitask effectively during busy hours with excellent time management skills
Basic math skills for billing, cash handling, and order calculations
Experience with food industry standards including serving, upselling, and hospitality etiquette
Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with guests and team members
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
