Job Description

Fowler Automotive Group is a customer-focused automotive dealership committed to providing exceptional experience from the moment guests walk through our doors. We are looking for a professional, friendly, and organized Receptionist to join our team and serve as the first point of contact for customers and visitors.

Position Summary

The Receptionist plays a key role in creating a welcoming and positive dealership experience. This position is responsible for greeting customers, answering and directing phone calls, assisting with administrative tasks, and supporting the sales and service departments with day-to-day operations.

Main Duties

Operate the switchboard to answer, forward telephone calls, taking messages, transferring to voicemail, and providing information as required.

Greet people as they first arrive at the dealership and direct them to appropriate person or area. Provide information to customers as needed.

Manage vehicle inventory

Filing in front office.

Record Vehicle warranty.

Prepare word processing functions for sales staff and management as required.

Operate and maintain general office equipment.

Assist with accounts payable/receivable.

Skills, Knowledge, Abilities

· Professional and courteous telephone manner.

· Ability to handle a multi-lined phone system for several staff members.

Excellent organizational skills, ability to multi-task, meet deadlines, perform repetitive tasks, and accurately handle a heavy volume of public enquires via telephone.
Excellent written and verbal skills.
Ability to understand and effectively carry out oral and written instruction.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Work well with minimal supervision, self-motivated, and a team player.
Knowledge of current office practices, procedures, and equipment operation.
Knowledge of computer applications including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and good keyboard skills.
