Vernon Camp - Security (Temporary)

We are currently seeking professional, reliable, and detail-oriented Security Guards to provide security coverage at a military camp environment. This position requires strong professionalism, situational awareness, and the ability to work within a structured and disciplined setting.

This is a temporary assignment (July 4 - August 23) with the possibility of continued casual employment with Paladin Security based on operational needs, attendance, performance, and business requirements.

Responsibilities

Monitor and secure assigned areas and access points
Conduct foot patrols and mobile patrols as required
Verify identification, credentials, and authorized access
Monitor for suspicious activity, safety concerns, and policy violations
Respond to incidents and emergencies in accordance with site procedures
Maintain accurate logs, reports, and documentation
Provide professional customer service and communication with site personnel and visitors
Enforce site rules, safety procedures, and security protocols
Qualifications

Valid BC Security Worker License
Valid Class 5 Driver’s License considered an asset
Excellent communication and report-writing skills
Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
Strong attention to detail and observational skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Physically able to conduct patrols and remain active for extended periods
First Aid certification considered an asset
Additional Requirements

Must be able to pass any required background screening and site clearance requirements
Must maintain professionalism and confidentiality at all times
Availability for flexible scheduling is preferred
