Job Description

RS Express Ltd. is a Winnipeg-based courier and transportation company committed to providing our clients with innovative and technologically advanced supply chain management solutions. Hours of Work (DAY SHIFT):
8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. CST
Monday to Friday, up to 8-hour workdays
Overtime after 8 hours (per day) and after 40 hours (per week)
What does it take to be part of our team?
A valid Class 5 Licence
At least 2 years of commercial delivery experience within Manitoba operating a 5-ton truck
Clean Driver’s Abstract OR with no traffic/transportation violations or major at-fault incidents in the past 5 years prior to applying
Satisfactory Criminal Record Check, at the successful candidate's expense
Comfortable with using hand-held devices/technology-based tools in the transportation industry
Ability to lift, pull, and carry up to 50 lbs
Good communications skills
Reliable, punctual, with strong organizational skills
Professional, good work ethics, and excellent customer service skills
Your Responsibilities:
Properly load, secure, and transport cargo and goods within the City of Winnipeg and surrounding areas
Safely and properly operate a 5-ton truck
Regularly perform vehicle trip inspections (pre and post) and accurately report the condition of the vehicle using Geotab
Comply with applicable laws, company policies, procedures, standards, and safe practices
Prompt reporting of vehicle defects, traffic violations, and work-related incidents
Check the completeness of all load-related documentation
Communicate with customers and the RS Team in a professional manner
Ensure cleanliness and orderliness of truck and trailer
Report promptly to dispatch/supervisor any service issues (ex. customer concerns, equipment or delivery glitches)
