Drivers - Class 3 with Air

Springhill Lumber Wholesale Ltd. is looking for full-time Class 3 with Air Drivers. These positions are from Monday to Friday with some overtime as required.

The successful candidates will receive full company paid benefits after 90-days.

Rate of Pay: Depending on Experience

Duties & Responsibilities:

Deliver building materials to customers’ job sites and pick up from vendors as instructed by the shipping department;
Pick up any excess building materials from job sites as instructed, and complete the proper paperwork;
Ensure orders are loaded, unloaded and accurately filled, counted and secured following all safe work requirements;
Receive and relay information to the shipping department in a timely manner;
Be professional, courteous, and punctual with a focus on customer service;
Other duties as required.
Requirements & Qualifications:

Hold a valid Class 3 with Air driver’s licence;
Able to operate a manual/standard transmission;
Obtain and hold a Driver’s Abstract (must be current within 3 months);
Ability to do physical labour including lifting, carrying (over 50 Lbs.), bending repeatedly on a daily basis;
Fluent in English (spoken and written) with excellent listening, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Forklift Licence desired (but not required);
Ability to perform at a high level in a fast paced, demanding working environment; and
Reliable vehicle is required, as this is a non-bus route.
Working Conditions:

Exposure to dust and extreme changes in temperature and weather when working outside year around.
Safety boots and safety equipment are required;
Busy, high-volume environment.
