ABOUT THE COMMUNITY
Helen Betty Osborne Ininiw Education Resource Centre is a Nursery to Grade 12 school serving approximately 1,400 students. It is one of the largest and most unique schools in the province. The school is located in Norway House, Manitoba which is a thriving community situated at the picturesque tip of Lake Winnipeg and the Nelson River. The community is fully serviced with a hospital, shopping mall, two community recreation complexes, a post-secondary campus and daily air service.

WHAT YOU BRING
Bachelor of Education Degree and valid Manitoba Teaching Certificate (or eligibility for)
A sound knowledge of provincial curricula with previous Art/Graphic Design teaching experience
Knowledge of Indigenous Way of Life
Strong classroom management skills
Experience working in a northern community
A commitment to differentiated instruction
A willingness to inquire into best practices and reflect on practices
A self-motivated team player committed to the belief that all students can learn
