Prep Cook

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Prep Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about food preparation, food safety, and delivering high-quality meals in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Responsibilities

Assist with food preparation tasks, including chopping, slicing, marinating, and portioning ingredients
Prepare ingredients for cooking according to recipes and standards
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the prep station and kitchen area
Follow proper food handling and safety procedures at all times
Support the cooking team during meal service by ensuring timely preparation of ingredients
Assist with inventory management and stock rotation of supplies
Ensure all food safety regulations are adhered to, including proper storage and sanitation practices
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow and quality control
Qualifications

Prior experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments is preferred but not required
Knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods
Familiarity with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards
Passion for the food industry and a commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences
Pay: From $17.10 per hour
