Job Description
Midland Transport is currently seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk to be based at our Head Office in Dieppe, NB. The Accounts Payable Clerk is responsible for processing all Midland payables in a timely manner.

Complete daily payment runs for approval and next day payment
Complete all other payments such as claims run, tolls, mastercard, leases and rent
Complete month end and Year End tasks to ensure accurate reporting to financials.
Process Necho and paper expense reports quickly and accurately to process a return owing to employees.
Quality Control and validate all midland invoice to ensure they are accurately transferred to Basware.
Education Required: Post-Secondary Degree/Diploma in a related field
Knowledge of Accounting fundamentals, Excel, JDE, Basware, Outlook
Effective communication skills with a demonstrated ability to work within a team environment
Accounts Payable experience preferred
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with the focus on meeting strict deadlines
