PRIMARY OBJECTIVE

Provide leadership and management to a multifaceted team in the delivery of quality strategic sourcing advice to Power and Water
Business Units and the Executive.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The “WHAT” to be delivered

Leading the development of a multifaceted team providing professional support, advice and services to internal stakeholders and external
suppliers as well as assisting in the development of the agency’s culture of undertaking professional procurement.
Leading procurement planning to ensure goods and services are obtained for the best price and value including the drafting of high level
key procurement policy and guideline documents for reference by internal Procurement Practitioners and external suppliers.
Ensuring the delivery of the procurement strategy and category plans are reviewed, maintained and implemented in order to deliver the
wider corporation’s strategy.
Development and ongoing management of the Annual Procurement Outlook Report delivering improved procurement performance
across Power and Water
Ensuring that procurement rules and processes are effectively implemented, and controls are in place to measure compliance.
