We are located just over the NSW/ACT border in regional NSW.
We are seeking an experienced Pharmacist to join our pharmacy team at Blooms The Chemist Karabar in Queanbeyan, NSW. As a full-time Pharmacist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality pharmaceutical care to our customers and supporting the pharmacy's operations.
What you'll be doing
Dispensing prescription medications accurately and efficiently
Providing professional advice and counselling to customers on the safe and appropriate use of their medication
Monitoring patients' medication therapy and identifying potential drug interactions or adverse effects
Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible patient outcomes
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records
Assisting with the management and ordering of pharmacy stock
Staying informed of changes in pharmaceutical regulations and best practices
What we're looking for
A valid Pharmacist registration with the Pharmacy Board of Australia
Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Pharmacist, preferably in a community pharmacy setting
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with customers and other healthcare providers
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
Proficiency in the use of pharmacy management software and other relevant IT systems
A commitment to providing exceptional patient-centred care
