Job Description

We are seeking a Registered Nurse for casual work to assist with our clients’ clinical care, to ensure the provision of high quality at-home care, as part of our friendly team in Canberra.

Complete Care Team has a holistic and wellness model of attendant care for people with high support needs, providing a quality home based person-centred service.

We specialise in providing support for spinal cord injured clients and are looking for a Registered Nurse with industry relevant qualifications or demonstrable experience. Understanding of and experience in spinal, brain injury, wound management, bowel and catheter care, quadriplegic and disability support is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

Duties may vary to suit the needs of the individual client. This may include however are not limited to:
Clinical visits to care for clients - wound care, catheter care
Assessing staff competencies
Personal care
Manual handling - use of equipment to support mobility and a range of mobility aids
Liaison with the RN Service Coordinator
Day to day management of client’s needs
Compliance with WH&S legislation and company policy and procedure

Essential Criteria

Qualifications and current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
Clinical experience
First aid certificate
Working rights in Australia
Demonstrated effective written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated commitment to WH&S and the positive client experience; and behaviour consistent with CCT values.
Driver’s license and access to a fully insured vehicle
Requirements

Vulnerable Persons Check (willing to)
Police check (willing to)
NDIS Clearance (willing to)
Preferred

Experience with / A commitment to person-centred disability care

Job Type: Casual

Pay: $42.45 – $48.80 per hour
