Scaffolder

We require Scaffolders to join the team.

This is a permanent role
Full time, with minimum guaranteed 30 hours per week
Monday - Friday with weekend jobs available
Competitive remuneration $27.00 - $32.00 per hour, depending on experience
About the Role

You will be based in Westcoast- Hokitika

What you will do

The role involves work on residential, commercial, and industrial sites and includes (but is not limited to):

Erect and dismantle scaffolding as instructed
Stack excess materials for pick up after erecting and/or dismantling a job
Attend internal and/or external training sessions when arranged by the company
Complete any duties as instructed by the Supervisor as and when required
Act at all times in a safe manner and comply with all safety regulations
Any other tasks as and when required
About you

Minimum 12 months of relevant and verifiable experience
A relevant trade certificate is desired but not required
Can work unsupervised or part of a team
Flexibility to meet the demands of the operation, including working shift work, and spending nights away from home
Ability to complete basic paperwork when needed
A dedication to Health & Safety in the workplace and understands and practices the principles of zero harm
A proven track record in safety compliance
Calm, professional temperament and a good work ethic
Ability to pass a workplace medical exam including drug and alcohol testing
You must be legally entitled to work in New Zealand
