About the role

MSS Security is looking for Security Officers, who hold or are eligible for a Baseline, NV1, NV2 and PV clearance, to work across Defence sites across the ACT. The position is primarily responsible for providing a security presence whilst remaining alert and focused. You will be part of an enthusiastic, committed and customer focused team. You will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to all our customers, and you will build strong relationships with your internal stakeholders.

Pathways to PV for candidates looking for full time work. Additional allowances for TSPV candidates may be applicable!

Your duties include but are not limited to:

Concierge / commercial building security

Access control and monitor CCTV

Respond professionally, courteously and promptly to all customer enquiries

Direct and ****** visitors to site

Visitors sign in/induction and maintain key registers and issue keys

Conduct foot patrols internal and external


What are we looking for?

Valid ACT Security licence (or willing to obtain one)

Valid ACT Drivers License

Previous experience in a customer facing role

Experience in security operations (ideal, but not necessary)

Positive attitude, great communication skills, willingness to learn and adapt

Australian Citizenship required for clearances
