Job Description

Lumino Hutt City is currently on the lookout for a Dental Assistant/Receptionist to join the team!

Here at Lumino Hutt City we pride ourselves in the high quality of dental services we provide to the wider community ensuring our patients leave smiling.

When you are working Dental Assistant you will be a critical part of our team! You will support our highly experienced team of clinicians with various interesting dental procedures during patient appointments. You will also take responsibility for instrument sterilisation and infection control and also stock control. Working beside experienced Dentists will give you a great insight into our practice and a rare opportunity to learn from one of the best.

As a Receptionist you will be the face and voice of the practice. A typical day will see you assisting our patients with their enquiries, generating and confirming appointment bookings, completing payment processing, banking, and other ad hoc administrative duties. It will be rewarding as no 2 days are the same, and what a pleasure to see people leaving with a smile on their faces!

The Hours for the role are:

Monday: 8.30am - 6.00pm
Tuesday: 8.30am - 6.00pm
Wednesday: 8.30am - 6.00pm
Thursday: 8.30am - 6.00pm

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

Previous experience as Dental Assistant is preferred but we are willing to fully train the right person!
Ideally, Sterilisation and/or customer-facing experience.
Warm and positive attitude and team-orientated approach.
Strong work ethic and excellent attention to detail.
Computer savvy skills with the ability to pick up things quickly.
Excellent communication, listening and interpersonal skills.
