Job Description

We are looking for a Store Person to join our team based at Gracefield, Wellington.

Position: Full-time permanent position
Days & hours: Monday - Friday, worked between 5.00 am to 2.00 pm (approx).
THE ROLE:

This position focuses on all aspects of stock handling including picking & packing orders, goods receipt, devanning containers and stock management. This role will also involve administration such as managing courier labels, managing our seconds and assisting customers with their pickups.

Reporting to the Branch Manager, you will be supporting the wider Wellington Food services team, you'll be the hub for all things stock related.


Qualifications

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

Class 1 full licence, clean driving record
Good physical fitness for heavy lifting
High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
Forklift licence
Positive and "can do" attitude and flexibility
Good computer and administrative skills
Excellent communication skills and multi tasking ability
Common sense and ability to take initiatives
Ability to work under pressure.
Prior NZ experience in this field beneficial. Knowledge of basic food ingredients is essential.
