Desired Skills and Experience
The Hutchins School is seeking enthusiastic and reliable Casual Child Care Assistants to join our Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) team.
Our OSHC program provides a safe, engaging and play-based environment for children before and after school, and during school holidays. Working as part of a small, supportive team, you’ll help deliver fun, inclusive programs that support children’s confidence, independence and wellbeing.
About the role
Support the planning and delivery of engaging play-based activities
Supervise children in group settings, including excursions
Assist with daily routines, including meals and hygiene
Build positive relationships with children, families and staff
Contribute to a safe, welcoming and well-organised environment
About you
You enjoy working with and engaging young children
You work well in a small team and can successfully follow established procedures
You hold (or are willing to obtain) a current First Aid qualification
You are positive, reliable and proactive
Additional experience we value
Experience working with children
Relevant qualification (or working towards) in education or care
Knowledge of OSHC or early childhood settings
