About the role
This is a permanent full-time position working up to 40 hours per week: Sunday - Thursday 6am - 1pm

As a Bakery Assistant, you'll play a key part in ensuring our bakery runs smoothly and that our customers leave with fresh, delicious products they love.

Delivering outstanding customer service in the bakery department
Packing, labelling, and merchandising bakery goods to standard
Maintaining accurate pricing and date coding
Preparing the department for upcoming shifts and keeping it clean and tidy
Assisting with end-of-day cleaning in line with our food safety standards
Helping produce consistently high-quality bakery products

About you
We’re looking for someone who’s:
Passionate about fresh food and great service
Reliable, motivated, and eager to learn
A team player with a positive, can-do attitude
Comfortable working early mornings and being on your feet for extended periods
Previous bakery experience, ideally in a commercial setting, is required. We value attitude and work ethic most of all.
Rate of pay for the right person will be between $25-30 per hour
