Dairy Farm Assistant (Landcorp Farming)

Landcorp Farming manages farming operations employing agricultural workers and farm technicians.

A Dairy Farm Assistant is an entry-level, hands-on farming role that supports the daily operations at Landcorp Farming.

Key Responsibilities:

Milking cows and maintaining hygiene in milking sheds

Feeding livestock and managing pasture (break-feeding)

Calving and calf care (seasonal but critical)

Animal health monitoring (reporting sick or injured cows)

Fencing, spraying, and general farm maintenance

Effluent and environmental management

Operating farm equipment (tractors, quad bikes, tools)

Supporting farm targets for milk production and animal welfare

Working closely with the farm team and manager

Skills & Requirements:

Willingness to learn (experience not always required)

Physically fit and hardworking

Teamwork and communication skills

Interest in agriculture or animal care

Driver’s license often preferred

Pay: From $6,000.00 per month
