We're currently looking to hire a Full Time Medical Receptionist (Floater).
True North Imaging (TNI) takes great pride in knowing we are providing a high quality and safe service within a patient and family centred environment. The TNI team is committed to providing our patients access to the best possible care at the time they need it most.
Duties and responsibilities
This position requires coverage at multiple sites in the geographical region within Toronto (accessible by Subway).
Go above and beyond the call of duty to provide the highest level of customer service to our patients and referring physicians.
Patient uptake. This includes organizing and processing requisitions, patient screening forms and inputting patient and procedure information into the RIS software.
Schedule/book appointments.
Manage a multi-line phone system.
Pull and retrieve patient records.
Communicate with health care providers or patients if necessary to clarify information and/or uncover missing information.
Other duties as required.
Qualifications
Positive, can - do attitude.
Excellent attention to detail, problem solving and organizational skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Superior interpersonal skills and the ability to provide excellent patient care and customer service.
Flexibility and openness to the changing needs of the business.
Demonstrated ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
Understanding of basic office technologies (multi-line phone system/computers/printers, etc.)
The ability to troubleshoot and resolve basic computer or office equipment-related issues.
Ability to maintain a professional demeanour and work well under pressure.
Experience in medical administration/diagnostic Imaging would be considered an asset.
Diploma or degree in Medical Office Administration (an asset)
Proficient in using Microsoft Office products, e-mail and the internet.
Excellent employment references.
