We’re seeking dedicated and experienced Registered and Enrolled Nurses to join our growing team, with flexible opportunities starting from 20 hours per week.

Nurse Next Door is a premium home care service provider that enables people to live a fulfilling life at home for as long as possible, regardless of age or ability. We are dedicated to delivering flexible in-home nursing care options to those in the Aged Care and Disability sector, ranging from 24/7 care to one-hour visits for wound care or diabetes management.

About the Role

Making Lives Better® and Happier Ageing® are at the heart of everything we do, enabling us to support members of the ageing and disability community to live fulfilling lives at home for as long as possible, doing what they love to do.

To meet the diverse needs of our clients, we provide care around the clock. Visits may be scheduled in the early morning, afternoon, evening, or overnight, ensuring support is always available when it is needed most.

Responsibilities

Provide a premium care experience to our clients that is genuine, compassionate and personalised
Deliver care following the client's care plan that has been developed by the Care Designer (Registered Nurse)
Meet the safety needs of the client and use equipment safely and properly .
Complete records and documentation accurately and thoroughly
Conduct Nursing Assessments

Skills & Experience

Community nursing would be an advantage
Subacute and disability experience.
Ability to identify and report client care concerns to the Director of Clinical Operations.
Ability to redirect or deescalate behaviours
Diabetes management
Dementia experience would be an advantage
Leadership experience is an advantage

Coachable
AHPRA Registration
Registered or Enrolled Nurse
CPR & First Aid Certification
Car & Valid Drivers License
National Police Check (Aged Care/ Vulnerable Persons Sector)
Working With Children Check
NDIS Worker Screening Approval

NDIS Worker Orientation Module Completion
