Job Description

Lumino Otaki is seeking a few Casual Dental Assistants who can support across our two practices , Otaki & Waikane during busy periods, staff leave, and future locum coverage.

Key responsibilities include:

Assisting clinicians chairside during procedures
Preparing rooms, instruments, and equipment
Maintaining high standards of infection control and sterilisation
Welcoming patients and assisting with reception tasks when required
Helping the team deliver an exceptional patient experience

Qualifications

We’re keen to hear from candidates who have:

Previous experience as a Dental Assistant preferred but training would be given to the right candidate
Knowledge of dental procedures and techniques
Excellent communication, organisational and customer service skills
Proficiency in computer software applications
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Have valid NZ work rights and lives locally
Hold a valid NZ driver licence and have access to a reliable vehicle (as travel between Ōtaki and Waikanae will be required).
