Seeking a dynamic, results‑driven business development professional with proven experience across labour hire, payroll services, and offshoring service models. This is a true “hunter” role for someone who thrives on identifying opportunities, opening doors, and converting prospects into long‑term partnerships within an empowering not‑for‑profit organisation.

The opportunity:

Joii Limited is seeking a Business Development Manager to manage the full lifecycle of client partnership management, with a strong focus on workforce and offshoring solutions, including:

Labour hire and workforce supply
Payroll and employment services
Offshoring services, including offshore delivery centres, managed teams, and cross-border service models
This is a front‑end growth role suited to a commercially astute “hunter” who enjoys building new relationships, developing opportunities from first contact, and driving sustainable revenue growth.

Key elements of the role include:

Proactively identifying, pursuing, and securing new business opportunities that position Joii Limited as a trusted workforce and offshoring partner
Developing and converting new client relationships requiring labour hire, payroll outsourcing, and offshoring solutions
Shaping and negotiating commercial arrangements aligned to client needs and organisational objectives
Managing tendering activities, ensuring a seamless process from opportunity identification through to high‑quality submission
Executing collaborative projects across multiple business units once opportunities are secured
Ensuring all partnerships align with Joii Limited’s strategic, ethical, and compliance objectives
This position is the vital link between Joii Limited and its external partners and plays a key role in expanding market presence and service offerings.

Responsibilities

Actively hunt for and generate new business across labour hire, payroll services, and offshoring service models
Build and maintain a strong pipeline through cold calling, networking, referrals, and market engagement
Convert prospects into long‑term partnerships through consultative selling and solution design
Develop tailored workforce and offshoring solutions aligned to client operational, commercial, and capacity needs
Coordinate and execute service agreements, labour supply arrangements, and offshoring frameworks
Support the preparation of proposals and tenders related to workforce and offshoring services
Collaborate with internal teams across recruitment, payroll, immigration, offshoring, and operations to deliver seamless solutions
Track, analyse, and report on new business performance, pipeline activity, and partnership outcomes
Represent Joii Limited as a brand ambassador at industry, client, and networking events
About You

A proven business development “hunter”with a track record of opening doors and winning new clients
Demonstrated experience selling or managing labour hire, payroll services, and/or offshoring solutions
Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to navigate complex service offerings and client decision‑making environments
A confident negotiator who can structure and close mutually beneficial agreements
Comfortable working autonomously, setting priorities, and managing your own pipeline and activity levels
Strong relationship‑building, presentation, and stakeholder‑management skills
Highly organised with excellent follow‑through
Qualifications & Experience

10+ years’ experience in business development, ideally within labour hire, payroll, offshoring, or workforce services
Senior‑level sales experience within workforce, employment, offshoring, or professional services industries
Experience working with offshore delivery or managed service models (highly advantageous)
Tertiary qualification in Business, Marketing, Human Resources, or a related field (highly regarded)
Strong competency across CRM systems, job management platforms, and the Microsoft Office suite
