Ready to be part of something deliciously different? Raglan Food Co is looking for a motivated Production Operator to play a vital role in crafting our famous plant-based yoghurt.

Reporting to the Production Manager, this 35-hour per week fixed-term role runs through to August 2026. We operate on a roster-based system with shifts between 6:00am and 10:00pm, Sunday to Friday. We need someone available to work a mix of shift times depending on the production schedule for the week ahead.

Being a Production Operator is a physical role that involves a variety of tasks some of which include handling materials that can weigh 20kg so if you are physically fit and want to get in some weight training while being paid for it this could be for you.

What You’ll Be Doing

· Ingredient Prep: Prepare ingredients and ensure high product quality while filling and packing finished products according to factory Standard Operating Procedures.

· Quality Control: Monitor product quality, check labelling, and identify any deviations to maintain consistency.

· Health & Safety: Follow all health and safety protocols while maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

· Efficiency: Help run the production line smoothly by assembling/dismantling equipment, performing tank transfers, preparing flavour batches, and supporting efficient operations.

· Problem-Solving: Identify opportunities for improvement and contribute solutions to increase efficiency.

· Collaboration: Work closely with the team to meet production targets, follow instructions, and maintain a positive team culture.

· CIP & Tank Fill: Assist with CIP (Clean-In-Place) and SIP (Sanitation-In-Place) cycles, prepare materials for the next day, and support tank fills.

What We’re Looking For

Experience in a production or manufacturing role (food production experience is a bonus).
Strong attention to detail.
Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
A positive attitude and team-first mindset.
Interest in learning and growing in the food industry, especially yoghurt production.
Someone comfortable in a fast-paced, physically active role that requires being on your feet throughout the day.
