We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Administrative Assistant that thrives in a dynamic school environment, values both precision and people, and enjoys being part of a purpose-driven team to fill a temporary, one-year position.

Key Responsibilities

As the Administrative Assistant, you are often the first point of contact for students, families, and staff. You play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the school while contributing to a warm, welcoming environment.

Administrative & Front Office Support

Serve as the primary point of contact for visitors, students, and families
Manage phone, email, and in-person inquiries professionally and warmly
Maintain student records and files with a high level of accuracy and confidentiality
Support school operations including scheduling, attendance tracking, and communications
Data Management & Systems

Enter and maintain data within Student Information Systems (SIS)
Support report generation and data tracking as needed
Ensure accuracy and integrity of school records
Financial & Bookkeeping Support

Perform basic bookkeeping and data entry tasks
Process invoices, receipts, and school-related transactions
Support financial record-keeping and reconciliation
Technology & Communications

Maintain and update the school website and social media pages
Support digital communications to families and staff
Utilize Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook) to support daily operations
General Office Duties

Coordinate bookings, calendars, and school events logistics
Order supplies and manage inventory
Provide administrative support to school leadership and staff
Qualifications & Skills

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Outlook)
Experience with bookkeeping and/or financial data entry
Experience working with Student Information Systems (SIS) or similar databases
Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Previous experience in a school or educational setting
Experience managing or updating websites (e.g., WordPress or similar platforms)
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Position Details

Position Type: 1.0 FTE, Temporary due to Maternity Leave

Salary Range: $20.01 - $26.33/hour

Benefits: Comprehensive Benefit Package

Start Date: May 25, 2026, (unpaid summer break)

End Date: January 2028

Reports to: Principal
