Job Description

We are seeking applications for a permanent, full-time position within the Nutritionals Packing Team. As a Packing Operator, you will play a critical role in ensuring products are packed safely, efficiently, and to specification while maintaining a positive and professional working environment.

Our site operates three dryers producing a diverse range of products, which are packed across five dedicated packing lines. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who takes pride in quality, teamwork, and maintaining high hygiene standards.

Key responsibilities include:

Consistently packing product in accordance with quality, safety, and specification standards
Always following designated operating procedures and safe work practices
Maintaining high standards of personal and plant hygiene, including completing cleaning and hygiene checklists
Accurately completing production documentation and records
Monitoring and minimising product loss to achieve the highest possible yield
Communicating effectively with supervisors and team members
Taking samples as required and raising any quality or safety concerns
Carrying out other reasonable duties as directed by the Packing Room Supervisor or Management
To succeed in this role, you will bring:

A proactive, positive attitude with the ability to work independently and use initiative
Strong problem-solving capabilities with a high level of attention to detail
The ability to perform effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment
A good level of physical fitness to meet the demands of the role
The ability to contribute positively and collaboratively within a team
Excellent organisational, documentation, and record keeping skills
Competency in computer systems, including spreadsheets and production documentation
A mechanically minded, practical approach to tasks and equipment operation
Previous experience and a related qualification are advantageous however are not required.
