LM&GL Construction Pty Ltd is a growing construction company based in Perth, Western Australia, specialising in residential, commercial, and civil construction projects. We are committed to delivering high-quality workmanship, maintaining safe work practices, and achieving reliable project outcomes.

Due to the continued expansion of our business, we are seeking one highly experienced Carpenter to join our team.

Key Responsibilities

Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to understand material and construction requirements
Determine the materials required for each project
Take accurate measurements and calculate material quantities
Cut and shape building materials (e.g. timber, fiberglass, and steel) according to specifications
Construct window frames, doors, staircases, and building frameworks using raw materials or pre-constructed components
Install flooring, roofing, and drywall, ensuring all work is level and compatible
Inspect sites and carry out repairs and maintenance as required
Build scaffolding and other construction structures
Assemble and fasten materials to erect frameworks
Install structures and fixtures
Requirements

Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Carpenter
Certificate III in Carpentry
Valid Construction Induction Card (White Card)
Experience in building and construction carpentry work (preferred)
Strong understanding of carpentry techniques, installation methods, and construction processes
Sound technical knowledge of carpentry work, including maintenance and repair
Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Broad carpentry skillset including civil works, formwork and concrete, steel frame welding, trusses, roofing, fencing, and fit-off
Truck licence or civil machinery tickets (advantageous)
