Air Conditioning and Mechanical Services Plumber

We are seeking an experienced and motivated full-time Air Conditioning and Mechanical Services Plumber to join our team. The role involves installing, servicing, and maintaining high-quality residential refrigeration and air conditioning systems while delivering exceptional customer service.

Salary: $76,000 – $85,000

Key Responsibilities:

Assemble and fit components such as compressors, motors, condensers, evaporators, control units, and piping systems.
Carry out cutting, bending, soldering, brazing, and welding tasks to complete pipework and ensure all joints and fittings are sealed and aligned correctly.
Test systems for leaks, pressure, and operational performance using gauges and diagnostic tools.
Perform routine servicing, inspections, and preventative maintenance to extend system life and efficiency.
Diagnose issues, repair faults, and replace defective components to restore proper operation.
Install and commission residential refrigeration and air conditioning systems in line with industry standards and company requirements.
Diagnose faults, carry out repairs, and perform preventative maintenance.
Interpret technical drawings, specifications, and work orders.
Ensure all work is completed safely and complies with Australian standards and regulations.
Liaise with clients on-site to provide professional advice and ensure customer satisfaction.
Maintain accurate records of work completed, including job sheets and compliance documentation.
About You:

Minimum 3 years post-trade experience in residential refrigeration and/or air conditioning installation.
Trade qualification in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning.
Current Refrigerant Handling License (RHL).
Current driver’s license.
Strong technical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
