Perdaman Chemicals and Fertilisers is looking for a Lab Technician Level 1 - Process & Operations is responsible for conducting routine laboratory analyses, assisting with process monitoring, and ensuring that quality control standards are maintained throughout the Ammonia & Urea Granulation Fertilizers Plant. This role focuses on supporting the laboratory’s operational efficiency by performing tests, analyzing samples, and ensuring that the plant’s processes are consistent with product quality and safety standards.

Requirements:
· 5 - 8 years of experience in a laboratory environment, preferably within a chemical manufacturing, fertilizer, or similar industrial setting.

· Basic understanding of laboratory techniques and equipment is preferred.

· Strong attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy in laboratory testing and documentation.

· Ability to handle chemicals, glassware and laboratory instruments safely. Proper use and upkeep of laboratory instruments.

· Conversant with different types of laboratory chemicals, their nature, identification and handling.

· Preparation of various reagents, standard solutions & indicators as per the testing requirements.

· Conversant with sample collection of industrial gases, liquids from high pressure & temperatures operations. Conversant with the sample collection of solid granules and their analysis.

· Good organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

· Basic knowledge of chemical processes and product quality testing. Familiarity with laboratory safety protocols and standards.
