Job Description
Make a real difference—every single day.
What if your leadership role wasn’t just about operations—but about helping people live life on their own terms?
We’re looking for someone for our client who can bring together people, systems, and care to make that happen. In this role, you’ll be at the centre of it all—supporting clients, guiding teams, and shaping how care is delivered across the Southland community.
Our client offers home based and private healthcare accross NZ. They're a fast growing family run business, and their team culture is excellent.
Why this role matters
This isn’t a behind-the-desk management job. It’s about connection, coordination, and care.
You’ll be working with people from all walks of life—some needing a little extra help at home, others requiring more complex, ongoing support. Your role is to make sure everything runs smoothly, everyone feels supported, and no one falls through the cracks.
What you’ll be responsible for
You’ll take ownership of how services are delivered day-to-day, including:
Bringing together clients, families, and healthcare professionals to create seamless care experiences
Leading and supporting a team of support workers—helping them succeed and grow
Making sure homes are safe and care environments meet high standards
Managing schedules and staffing so the right people are in the right place at the right time
Solving problems as they arise—often quickly, always thoughtfully
What kind of person thrives here?
You don’t need to tick every box—but you do need the right mindset.
You’re likely someone who:
Enjoys working with people and building trust
Can juggle multiple priorities without losing focus
Stays calm when things get busy or unpredictable
Thinks practically and acts with empathy
Takes initiative and follows things through
Experience in service delivery, operations, or healthcare will help—but your ability to lead, communicate, and care matters just as much.
The practical details
Full-time, 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday)
Based in Invercargill
Full driver’s licence and access to a vehicle required
You must have the legal right to work in New Zealand
Police vetting is part of the process
What you’ll get in return
Competitive salary
A role where your work has visible, meaningful impact
Ongoing support and professional development
Access to EAP services
Birthday leave
Opportunities to grow within a supportive organisation
