Armour Guard Security is a Perth-based security company specialising in CCTV, alarm systems, intercoms, access control, and monitoring solutions. We work across both residential and commercial properties and pride ourselves on quality work and looking after our clients. We're a growing business and this is a genuine opportunity to learn the trade from the ground up, working one-on-one with an experienced technician who will teach you properly.

The Role

This is a hands-on apprenticeship where you'll be out on site every day working directly alongside the business owner. You won't be sitting in a warehouse or watching from the sidelines, you'll be involved in the work from day one, learning how to install, service, and commission security systems across a wide variety of jobs.

You'll get experience across:

CCTV systems
Alarm and intrusion detection systems
Intercom systems
Access control
Structured cabling
Network-connected security systems
Monitoring setup and configuration
What You'll Be Doing

Working alongside the lead technician on installations across residential and commercial sites
Running cable, mounting devices, labelling, and assisting with fit-off work
Helping with testing, fault finding, and commissioning
Keeping tools, the vehicle, and work areas clean and organised
Following site safety requirements
Building your technical knowledge and practical skills over time
What We're Looking For

We'll teach you the technical side - what we can't teach is attitude. We want someone who turns up on time, is keen to learn, and takes pride in doing things properly.

You need:

A current driver's licence (non-negotiable)
A genuine interest in electronics, security technology, or hands-on technical work
A solid work ethic and willingness to get stuck in
A professional, respectful attitude on site
Good communication skills and the ability to take direction
Attention to detail
A White Card (or willingness to get one)
The right to work in Australia
Bonus if you have:

Started or completed a relevant pre-apprenticeship or trade studies
Basic hand tool experience
An interest in cabling, networking, or electronic systems

Work Location: In person
