Print & Sign Production Technician

We are seeking a reliable and hands-on Print & Sign Production Technician to join our team on a full-time basis.

This is a varied workshop role across print finishing, signage production and general production duties, with the potential to also assist in signage preparation and installation, picture framing, laser work and small fabrication. The role can be tailored to the successful applicant’s skills and experience.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys practical work, variety and working in a busy production environment where no two days are the same.

Key duties

Duties may include, but are not limited to:

Print finishing, including trimming, laminating, mounting, packing, sorting and general job preparation
Operating and assisting with print finishing and production processes
Preparing printed materials and signage for dispatch, installation or collection
Applying vinyl and digital media to a range of substrates
Assisting with signage production, graphics application and general workshop tasks
Assisting with picture framing, laser work and small fabrication tasks
Carrying out general production, assembly, finishing and quality control
Maintaining a clean, safe and organised workspace
Assisting with other workshop and production duties as directed
Skills and attributes

The successful applicant should have experience, skills or aptitude in some or most of the following:

Print finishing, print production or signage production
Good practical, hands-on skills and attention to detail
Ability to work efficiently, maintain quality standards and meet deadlines
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Good communication, time management and a willingness to learn
A reliable attitude and pride in producing neat, high-quality work
Experience in signage installation, vinyl application, working at heights, EWP operation, picture framing, laser work or fabrication will be highly regarded. Training can be provided to the right applicant.

Pay: $32.00 – $40.00 per hour
