Automotive Technician (Mechanic)

New Town Toyota is seeking experienced Light Vehicle Technicians to join our expanding Service Department. This is a full‑time permanent role offering excellent pay, flexible work options, and access to some of the most advanced automotive technology in the industry.

Work Hours

7:30am – 4:30pm (9‑day fortnight option), or
8:00am – 4:06pm (standard roster)

How You’ll Make an Impact

Performing high‑quality vehicle servicing, repairs, and advanced diagnostics
Working with modern Toyota systems, including Hybrid and EV technologies
Ensuring all work meets Toyota safety and quality standards
Mentoring and supporting apprentice technicians
Contributing to a productive and professional workshop environment
What We’re Looking For

Australian Trade Certificate in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology (or equivalent)
Current Australian C Class manual driver’s licence (or above)
Minimum 2 years’ experience as a qualified Light Vehicle Technician
Strong diagnostic capability and willingness to learn new technologies
Ability to work well within a team‑based workshop environment
Unrestricted working rights in Australia
Toyota brand experience beneficial but not essential
