Summary
Job Title: Store Person
Job location: Southland
Number of positions : 1
Minimum and maximum working hours per week: 30.00 – 60.00
Minimum and maximum pay rate per hour: $25.00 – $28.00
Job Duties:
Serve customers in a polite and efficient manner.
Receive and inspect incoming goods for any damage or mismatch with invoices.
Unload vehicles, open packages, and organize stock for storage.
Use the POS system to register incoming and outgoing stock.
Label items clearly for incoming stock.
Pack and seal goods for storage.
Assist the store manager with regular stock takes and report any discrepancies.
Maintain a clean and organized storage area and follow all safety guidelines.
Requirements
At least an NZQF Level 1 qualification (or equivalent) or 1 year of relevant experience
Timings would be rostered between 6AM to 10PM on Monday to Sunday
Ability to work independently and follow instructions accurately
Good customer service skills and a helpful attitude
Strong attention to detail in handling stock and maintaining store presentation
Basic understanding of inventory management and POS operations
Willingness to learn and work as part of a team
Pay: $25.00 – $28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30.0 – 60.0 per week
