Housekeeping Manager

About the Role


At Mantarays Ningaloo Beach Resort, the Housekeeping team is central to delivering exceptional guest experiences. As Housekeeping Manager, you will lead and support the housekeeping operation across the resort, ensuring guest rooms, public spaces and facilities are maintained to the highest standard of cleanliness and presentation.


You will oversee daily housekeeping operations, manage team performance and scheduling, and work closely with other departments to ensure smooth room turnarounds and consistently high standards throughout the resort.


What You’ll Do


As Housekeeping Manager, you will bring strong leadership, organisation and attention to detail to every shift.


Your responsibilities include:

Leading, supervising and supporting the housekeeping team across all areas of the resort

Overseeing cleaning and presentation of guest rooms, public areas and pool ablutions to brand standards

Managing daily room allocations and ensuring efficient turnaround during the 10:00am–2:00pm changeover window

Ensuring cleaning routines are followed for Daily Service and Check-Out rooms

Coordinating early “Sunrise” shift tasks, including reception, restaurant, lounge and guest facilities

Conducting room inspections and addressing maintenance or presentation issues promptly

Training, mentoring and motivating team members to maintain high performance and morale

Managing stock levels, linen, cleaning supplies and equipment

Assisting with seasonal deep-cleaning programs and special projects during lower occupancy

Ensuring all WHS, hygiene and safety standards are followed at all times

Respectful of guest property, staff accommodation and resort equipment

Experienced in housekeeping supervision or management (resort or hotel experience highly regarded)
